The Area
Our guests will enjoy a short walk to the renowned tourist town of Piegut-Pluviers. They will explore the famous weekly market, which transforms the town into a tourist’s paradise each Wednesday, walk the streets absorbing the historic architecture and ambience, and delight in the quaint shops, cafes and restaurants. The White Grape Inn also serves nearby towns of Brantôme (34 km), local beach town of Étang de Saint-Estèphe (6.2 km), Augignac (3.5 km), Rochechouart (28 km), Nontron (12 km). It is under 1 hr. away from Limoges National Airport.
Close by are several amenities.. There is a large supermarket which also has a petrol station and sells gas/propane tanks within a ten minute walk. The town contains several nice restaurants, two great pizza places, a bar, a tabac (convenience store), hairdressers, banks, insurance agent, a computer repair technician, three bakeries, and other amenities. The town also hosts the oldest weekly market in the region. Within fifteen kilometres are two beaches on a lake, golf, horseback riding, castles, the larger towns of Nontron and St Mathieu, several more restaurants and bars, and numerous walking paths and fishing spots.
